The Crisis of the Crisis

How Good Is Your Memory?

Doesn't it seem like there is always SOME type of Crisis that we need to deal with. Or should I say that the government will have to deal with. Some of the ways government remains and gains power is by presenting fear to the general population. Fear about something that ONLY the government will be able to handle in the proper way. This will be the first in a series of articles about Crisis.

THE TRUTH THAT WILL SET YOU FREE!
It IS ALL about the power. There is no such thing as coincidence. Very FEW will step in front of another to stop a bullet.
Those who drink from the grapes of power have trouble saying NO to one more glass of wine. You have freedom as long as you do what the government says you should do. Is that the freedom our founding fathers envisioned?
Government gains more power and is questioned less when fear and safety is brought into the picture. Once people have tasted power, they don't want to give up that taste. After tasting the grapes of power for too long, people start believing that it is THEIR right to continue to taste that wine. Not their honor, their right. When they get to that mindset, their actions are more about keeping themselves in power then doing what is best and right for the people.

<od>The Crisis of the War on Terror!
I will deal with many crisis but the first one, let it be the so called War On Terror! What has that war brought to this country? I guess I could say thank goodness we invaded Iraq, can you image how high gas prices would have been by now if we had stayed in our own country?

What the war on terror has brought us. We have to wear socks now that are clean and no holes if we are going to fly. We don't actually have to, but it could be embarrassing. Depending on the mood of the people in charge we may or may not be able to take shampoo, toothpaste, nail cllppers etc. with us on our flight.

The War on Terror have gotten a great word ,PATRIOT, hijacked by congress in passing laws that take our rights away. By calling it the Patriot Act they attempt to make it so that anyone that would oppose it would BE, UNPATRIOTIC. A good way to keep people in check and quite.

As soon as this act or parts of it are due to expire, then we hear how much MORE in danger we will be if it isn't renewed. But in truth what is in more danger is OUR rights as AMERICANS. The very people who would and who have killed our people. The very people who would take our freedoms away from us have had to do nothing more then fly the planes into the buildings. Our elected representatives have done the rest as far as taking some of our rights and freedoms away from us.

If Bin Laden was so important in this War of Terror, then why did we not continue with him until we found him? Could it be because he would be more valuable to the people in power alive and free then dead or captured? Why go into Iraq before the job with Bin Laden was finished? Wouldn't there have been time after that job was finished to then go after Iraq?

Do you remember why we went into Iraq? Weapons of Mass Destruction. WMD's. Now after none were found I REMEMBER the people in power saying there were more reasons then JUST WMD's for going into Iraq. The trouble with that is that I ALSO REMEMBER Colin Powell going to the United Nations outlining the reason for going into Iraq. WMD's was the reason. Once they didn't find WMD's they changed their story or reasons. The ONLY problem with that is that I REMEMBER Powell's talk at the United Nations. Some of this stuff would be so much easier to believe if my memory wasn't so good.

So once no WMD's were found and Saddam was pulled out of the Rat Hole I had a simple solution to the problem. Put him back in power. Don't you think he would have played ball with us? Let HIM get his country back into control and remember we dug you out of a rat hole, we can do it again. But no that would have been too simple. Instead it was very important to make sure he was dead. What was such the rush? As far as that goes what was such the rush of killing the Oklahoma City Bomber? Both people still had much information, so why such the rush to close the lips of that information? Remember there are no coincidences.

The war on terror has been a very high cost of blood and treasure. The dems like to use that wording a lot. But billions and billions of dollars have been sent to a country we invaded. Thousands of our young people have lost their life's, and many more thousands have lost body parts. Remember Viet Nam? I do and back then you had old men and some not so old playing with the lives of young American boys sending them to fight a war that was NEVER declared. Have we actually declared war on Iraq???

NOW the difference is that we have old men and some not so old, and old women and some not so old, playing with the lives of our young American boys and girls in a war (was it ever declared?). So I guess the BIG question I HAVE to ask about the War On Terror is this. If the War on Terror is SO important, and if the main reason is too keep our country and people safe, then WHY after 6 1/2 years since 911 are our borders STILL SO OPEN!!!!!!

IF IT IS about keeping our people safe and our country safe, wouldn't one of the first things you do is make SURE it is difficult for people to enter our country without us knowing about it??? It just makes common sense to me that closing our borders would be one of the FIRST things we should do. I would think that most of our young people would rather be protecting our borders from invasion then being the invaders. If the terrorists can't get here, then won't it be harder for them to hurt us? If our young people are going to have to serve in a desert wouldn't most rather be closer to home? At least this way maybe they could get home more to see their families and be serving in a safer place.

The problem is NOT our young people serving. They will protect us, they have already given so much. The problem is not with them. The problem is with the people in power on BOTH sides , that are playing with their lives. Making them serve tour after tour of duty.

The Crisis Of The War On Terror!
If it is such a big deal then WHY aren't our borders closed? WHY? You can't say we haven't had enough time to close them. We have had over six years. If our safety and the safety of our country is so important to take away people's rights and freedoms (such as the Patriot Act), then WHY isn't it important enough to seal our borders???

How can it be a crisis, how can it be a war on terror, when one of the most important things to do to assure our safety ISN'T done? Is it as much a War On Terror or is it more a War On The Rights Of Americans?</od>

Bush endorsing John McCain. Many talking about how this should help win over the conservative members of the party that have been objecting to McCain. Of course the many making such statements would have liberal leanings if the truth was known. Since he was Vice-President under President Reagan for eight years, then the endorsement would surely win them over.

With that reasoning the conservatives must really be dumb. Or is it the liberal pundits? Let's examine why like John McCain, George H.W. W. Bush also. With that being understood, why would his endorsement of someone excite them?

"The impact of the pledge was considerable, and many believe it helped Bush win the 1988 United States presidential election. Once president, however, Bush agreed to raise several taxes as part of a 1990 budget agreement. This has been attributed to a declining economy, ballooning budget deficits, and the need to compromise with the Democrat-controlled Congress. This reversal caused great controversy, especially in the more conservative wing of the Republican Party. "

Excerpted from an essay by Michael R.

At the Republican Convention in Detroit, Ronald Reagan worried about the depth of Bush's convictions. At first he resisted advice to choose for Vice President the man who had gotten the second most votes in the primaries. He privately disparaged Bush's ability to "stand up to the pressure of being President": "I'm concerned about turning the country over to him." But after former President Ford withdrew his name from consideration, Reagan swallowed his doubts, made the call, and asked Bush whether he could support the party platform, the most conservative in forty years.

This was no small question. During the primaries, Bush had derided Reagan's hallmark pledge to cut taxes while hugely increasing the defense budget as "voodoo economics." He had supported abortion rights. But, willing to pay the price for political rebirth, Bush immediately told Reagan that he could support the platform "wholeheartedly." .....

Bush's eight years as Reagan's number two were made miserable by his ostentatious effort to convince what he privately called the "extra-chromosome" conservatives that he was not some kind of closet one-world liberal. Bush's vice-presidential predecessor, Walter Mondale, had warned him after the 1980 election that "a President does not want and the public does not respect a Vice President who does nothing but deliver fulsome praise of a President." ....

But Bush now felt his only chance for President in 1988 lay in winning over Reagan and his increasingly dominant wing of the party. On the simple level of private character, he showed admirable loyalty. More than any other vice president of the post-war era, Bush refused to allow sunlight between himself and his President. He eschewed background interviews with reporters designed to make himself look good at the boss's expense and used all public opportunities to demonstrate himself as a Reaganite, at one moment incautiously saying, "I'm for Mr. Reagan, blindly!" He defended himself by saying that in his family, loyalty was "not considered a character flaw."

It was the unrelenting ardor of that loyalty, from a Vice President who had once so disagreed with the Reaganites, that critics considered a character flaw. .......

During the (1988) campaign, Bush had encouraged the impression that his first years in office might be tantamount to Reagan's third term, with many Reagan appointees held over and the former President perhaps flown in from California from time to time as a kind of political godfather. That did not happen. Few high officials survived from the era of Reagan into that of Bush. During the Bush presidency, the forty-first President, who still held the hearts of most Republicans and to whom Bush owed his office, appeared in the White House exactly twice. Many conservatives suspected that by thumbing his nose at Reaganism, the new President, intoxicated by victory, was paying them back for all the years of humiliations while courting the right.

If they were correct, Bush was showing dangerous hubris and self-indulgence. The Republican Party, if anything, was growing more conservative than ever. If Bush did not wish to expend the effort to try moving his party to the center, as Eisenhower had attempted and failed to do, it would have been more sensible for the President to show that he understood the balance of forces within his party. But, buoyed by his high approval ratings, Bush gave signs of allowing himself to believe that he was unsinkable. His "what-me-worry?" attitude culminated in July 1990, when he reneged on his supreme campaign promise not to raise taxes. This told conservatives once and for all that Bush was not really one of them. .....

They were 18 - 0. No losses and they were destined to be the champions, to win everything. They were going against the New York Giants. The Giants for a long time in their season were struggling just to finish above .500 for the season. The last game of the season before the playoffs the Giants were defeated by the Patriots.

Listening to almost everyone the Giants should have just stayed home. Think about the carbon imprint they would have saved. When the game was over the Patriots had been defeated. The underdog Giants WON!

If you thought about the Republican Nomination Process as a football game it would be about 5 1/2 minutes into the 3rd quarter. There are 15 minutes in a quarter and 4 quarters in a game. With that being said the Huckabee team is down by a big score. But there is STILL enough time in the game to try and win it. You can't win it by holding your head down thinking there is no way to win this game.

It is time for a few hail mary passes, a few hawg wild plays. An appropriate play since Huckabee is from Arkansas. A Hawg Wild Formation was run by the University Of Arkansas football team the past two seasons.

How To Stop Or Slow Down The Media McCain Train:

I suggested this in a earlier article before Romney suspended his race. It would have worked for Romney because he has the money and that isn't a issue. What I suggested was that Mitt Romney announce who his Vice President running mate would be. I suggested that he try to bring someone on board like Newt Gingrich.

A person like Newt Gingrich (if Romney could have talked him into coming on board) would have gotten the media buzz. Also what better person to help with how to battle the democrats and come up with a plan to submit to the voters? A plan does need to be laid out, not only for the Presidential race but also for the congressional races. As I stated in a article the other day, the senate and congressional races are the most important races. With them you can get people in to stop or slow down the liberal agenda. I heard Rush Limbaugh picking up on that today. He too was saying what I had put in an earlier article about how important the congress could be in all of this.

Since Mitt Romney has only suspended his race and has kept control of his delegates, I assume that he could change his mind and get back in if something odd happened. So what could make something odd happen?

There are STILL 3 people in the Republican Presidential Race. Mike Huckabee, Ron Paul and that guy from Arizona. As I stated in another article John McCain always looked like he thought Ron Paul was crazy when Dr. Paul would comment on certain things. But after watching John McCain's expression when Dr. Paul asked him a question about the economy, and after listening to him stumble to try and come up with an answer, I may be wrong. It may be as simple as John McCain had the funny looks because he simply doesn't understand the issues of the economy, which was shown by Ron Paul's question to him. If you want to see it go here:</OD>

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJ1OB2iLxcY

Mike Huckabee could still announce who he would choose for Vice President. Then he could put that person out on the trail. A person like Newt Gingrich would get the press and also get people excited and help bring money in. If he couldn't get Newt to come on board he could still come up with someone else that could strengthen him and get the press.

It would also FORCE all of the other candidates to do the same (democrats also). Today McCain was asked about Vice President and he didn't answer the question, he said it was too early. Why is it too early? I know you would want to save that for press later, but WHY NOT NOW? It is important everyone knows and if it is so certain McCain has this nomination then why not? Of course if McCain made the wrong pick it might slow his train and if Huckabee made the right one it might speed up his train. Same thing for Clinton or Obama. But why not force the issue and make everyone lay that card on the table?

If Huckabee would do this and could get the right person on board it could really shake things up. People are looking for something to excite them. This would be one of those plays in the football game that if it was successful it could change the momentum of the game. The score of the game is such that it is time to put in the Hawg Wild Formation.

People want to make fun of Ron Paul, most of the ones that do so don't understand what he is saying. It is so foreign to what they are use to hearing that it sounds very strange to them. IF these people who want to make fun of Ron Paul would do their work, and research some of the issues he brings up, they might then understand what he is really saying. They might then also understand why his supporters are so passionate about Dr. Ron Paul.

The big three conservative radio talk show hosts tried to destroy Huckabee's campaign when they were trying to push Romney to the top. They all three really have a problem with McCain. They still have a problem with him. Here is another play that could change the game.

Let some of these big radio hosts come on board and push Ron Paul. One reason Ron Paul isn't being taken seriously is because he is either left out of a debate or overlooked mostly when he is allowed in one. Since there is ONLY 3 left if some would get behind him imagine the press. There is a reason people who like Ron Paul work so hard for him. If you want to stop McCain and don't want to get behind Huckabee then get behind Ron Paul. At least enough to get him attention so people will be able to really understand where he stands. A lot of what Ron Paul says people don't like hearing. But for our country's sake the people need to hear it.

Remember how the name Huckabee sounded kind of funny? It doesn't sound so funny now does it? Well if Ron Paul was allowed to speak his truth's enough and people would do a little work and research, then what he is saying wouldn't be sounding funny. If you really want to stop McCain get a forum where Ron Paul is allowed to ask John McCain a few questions. Get him ten minutes to ask McCain questions and he will destroy him. The ten minutes doesn't include the time McCain will fumble around to attempt to answer them. Hell, let Dr. Paul ask McCain five minutes of questions and he will destroy him.

One of the issues that American's understand and care about is closing our borders. Again I ask how can you really say we are fighting a war on terror and we REFUSE to close our borders. Another way to slow the McCain Train is shine the light on one of his advisors. Juan Hernandez. If you watch any of the talk cable news shows you have seen this guy.

http://www.juanhernandez.org/

And he has volunteered to help me with outreach to our Hispanic citizenry as that is his reach as I outreach to every citizen in America. I've made very clear my position on immigration, made very clear on my position on Social Security and, of course, I am grateful that we have so many people who came from Ireland to the United States of America and anybody else who can come here legally under the right system and that's the only system that I would ever support and I have no idea but I will check into the information you've given me. Michelle?

MALKIN: A block, not a region. He said it many times. He also, when he worked for this Mexican bureaucracy called the presidential office for Mexican abroad, what he did was he spent his time traveling all across our country lobbying local, state and federal officials for driver's license for illegal aliens. He defended his operators who were carrying illegal aliens to the country and who promoted extending banking privileges here in the United States to illegal aliens, lobbied to get lower rates for them so that they could send home billions of dollars in remittances back to their country. The guy does not believe in borders. He is a senior fellow at something called the Reform Institute which is a think tank that John McCain founded and it has come under scrutiny by the mainstream media because it underscores John McCain's hypocrisy not just on open borders but also on campaign finance because he's used his supposedly nonpartisan, nonprofit thinking to solicit donations from big donors who he then goes and crusades for while he's sitting on Senate committees. At this reform institute which is in part funded with George Soros money, Juan Hernandez was in charge of leading the lobbying campaign for John McCain's amnesty effort last year. And this reform institute also sponsored an art contest for students where they spent their time demonizing the border. And you can go and look. I linked this on my website, to all of the art that compares the walls our borders and our border fences to the Berlin wall which keeps people in instead of walling people out to prevent invasion, to prevent undermining our sovereignty, to prevent encroaching of our laws. And for McCain to have the gall to stand there and tell that voter in Florida who, by the way, learned about this Juan Hernandez thing by looking at our research on the Internet, for him to say that he supports securing the border first when he's got a guy outreaching to illegal aliens to persuade them to make John McCain President? It's more than nauseating.

Thank you for this part Glenn Beck www.glennbeck.com and Michelle Malkin www.michellemalkin.com .

So who in the Media will start asking John McCain about Juan Hernandez EVERYDAY????

An article from Ron Paul that connects to AU Superhighway Revisted

Paving Paradise

The Constitution guarantees Americans the right to be secure against all unreasonable seizures. My home state of Texas is unfortunately planning on some very unreasonable seizures of land with the monstrous Trans Texas Corridor highway project. The TTC plans call for a highway to cut through about 4,000 Texas miles, and with separate rail lines for passenger and freight, a multi-lane highway with separate truck lanes, utility and cable easements, this highway could be as wide as 1200 feet across. In the end this project would consume something like half a million acres of land in Texas . However, since the exact path of the road has not been determined, it is putting much more acreage in jeopardy, and in limbo.

Taking land is destructive enough. But the perpetual threat of taking an undetermined amount of land is hanging over the heads of millions of Texans and putting their lives at a standstill. Land is a store of wealth and a source of stability. This highway project is tragically threatening that for so many Texans.

The principle of private property is the cornerstone to a free and prosperous society. In situations where a colossal government land grab is a distinct possibility, investment or improvement becomes more risky with an uncertain future and tends not to happen. How do you sell land that may or may not be taken by the government at some point in the not too distant future? Who would buy it? How do you cultivate or build on, or even near, land that may or may not be paved over and turned into a massive, noisy thoroughfare in a few years?

Even more insulting is the distinct possibility that, while the road will collect tolls and fees, making a private foreign firm billions of dollars in revenue, the costs of building it could be heavily borne by taxpayers. So the costs will be socialized and the profits privatized. Public-private partnership indeed!

From Washington I have voiced my staunch disapproval of taking these hard-working taxpayers' land for a private toll road, by introducing legislation (HR 5191) that simply states, "No Federal funds appropriated or made available before, on, or after the date of enactment of this Act may be used by a unit of Federal, State, or local government to carry out the highway project known as the 'Trans-Texas Corridor'." I am working hard in Congress to make sure that no Federal funding is used to undermine property rights in this way.

We should be focusing on guarding and securing our borders for the protection of the American people. Instead we are paving the way for more and more people to cross the border as comfortably as possible. And taking the family farm to do it. It is an absolute outrage.

Here is an interview that Glenn Beck www.glennbeck.com had with Michelle Malkin http://michellemalkin.com

                     Michelle Malkin
            http://michellemalkin.com

Before you start trusting your safety and country and freedom to John McCain understand where he REALLY stands.

GLENN: From Radio City in Midtown Manhattan, this is the third most listened to show in all of America. I'm glad you're listening today. I will tell you that the staff at the Glenn Beck program has had an intervention on me about a half hour ago because I'm a little testy, quite frankly. It might have to do with internal bleeding that we haven't been able to find yet or, you know, the anemia or any of the other things going on in my life right now, the lack of sleep, et cetera, et cetera. Or it could just be boiled down to John McCain. And when I say John McCain, my frustration comes from I don't understand America that can say, look at how wrong John McCain has been. 70% of America says John McCain is wrong about immigration. They believe in securing the border, et cetera, et cetera. And he says he has an epiphany.

Well, now, when you listen to the American people, okay, great, I had an epiphany, I listened to the American people. The reason why I'm so upset is what you're going to hear in the next few minutes. It is something that most of America doesn't know and when you hear the facts laid out before you about John McCain, it should make your blood boil. Whether it will or not, I don't know, but it should. Michelle Malkin is here and she's gooding to lay the whole story out. Hi, Michelle.

MALKIN: Hi, Glenn.

GLENN: Have you ever seen such an audacious slap in the face to the American people as this?

MALKIN: I haven't felt one like this in a long time, Glenn. I'm still reeling from it. But I do hope that as more people find out about McCain's open border roots that they won't buy the dye job that he's given himself and the instant immigration makeover that he's trying to sell to conservatives and Republicans.

GLENN: Okay, I want you to lay it -- two pieces of audio, one from John McCain being asked about it and then another piece of audio from the gentleman that is now working with him. So you tell me the best time to play it while you explain what he's doing right now behind everybody's back.

MALKIN: Sure. Well, last month I received a tip from a concerned reader and she had listened to John McCain speak to the Hispanic Republicans in Nevada at a conference and apparently at this conference McCain was trying to tout his connection to a man named Dr. Juan Hernandez who has been named the national director of Hispanic outreach for the McCain 2008 campaign. This reader of mine was appalled when she learned of this hire and it had exactly the opposite effect that apparently McCain wanted it to have. This was supposed to be reassuring to Hispanic Republicans that this guy had been hired as outreach.

My colleague at hotair.com, Bryan Preston, confirmed this staff hire and, in fact, on John McCain's daughter's campaign website, there's a lovely, cozy picture of Juan Hernandez pivoting with Meghan McCain and Mark MacKinnon who is the campaign guru for John McCain. Well, who is this guy? I'm quite familiar with him. I've debated him several years on the cable TV circuit because he's one of the most ubiquitous ethnocentric open borders zealots on the scene.

GLENN: I have never -- you know what, Michelle, he's been on my show quite a few times. In fact, I've banned him from the show. I'm just not going to give the guy any more airtime.

MALKIN: Good. He is an expert at filibustering and he is an expert at crooked talk. He talks a smooth game about how, of course, he supports our immigration laws but at the same time he had served as a Mexican cabinet official under Vicente Fox where he worked diligently to do nothing but undermine sovereignty and our laws. Yeah, it would be a great time to go ahead and play one of those audio clips because --

GLENN: Let's play, Stu, let's first play the John McCain and then we'll play the second clip of Juan Hernandez.

STU: Right, this is the answer because someone actually asked about Juan Hernandez.

GLENN: Here it is, here's John McCain.

VOICE: I wonder if you agree with those policies. If so, explain it to me. And if not, why is he on your staff.

McCAIN: He's on my staff because he supports my policies and my proposals and my legislative proposal to secure the borders first, that no one will receive Social Security benefits who is in this country illegally. I don't know what his previous positions are, other previous positions are but he supports mine. I have nothing to do with his. But I want to promise you I will secure our borders. I will not allow anyone to come here illegally. I will not allow anyone to receive Social Security or any other benefit because they have come here illegally and broken our laws.

GLENN: Okay. That's John McCain. Now, it's so disingenuous to say he doesn't know who this man is or his policies. This is a guy who used to work for Vicente Fox. He is the most open border guy you could possibly imagine. Here's just one clip of Juan Hernandez, and we've got tons of them and we'll be playing them over the next few days. Here's just one clip of Juan Hernandez on TV.

HERNANDEZ: I don't think that we need to build walls to control immigration. We are the 21st century now and we're a country that has always broken down walls. Once again with regard to securing the borders, we need to work with Mexico. We're never going to have a secure border. We're not going to put a wall up for these hundreds and hundreds thousands of miles. We have to work with our neighbors. We need to think now for the future. Canada, the United States and Mexico as a block.

GLENN: Canada, Mexico and America as a block. That's who this guy is.

I have an ulcer.

GLENN: Michelle, I mean, I don't think -- I just don't think I have ever seen, well, at least on the GOP side I don't think I have seen anything more insidious than this kind of stuff. I mean, this is Bill Clinton insidiousness. This is somebody who is taking and wrapping themselves around an issue and trying to convince the American people that he's doing one thing and he is doing exactly the opposite behind our back.

If John McCain would get into office and this stuff would happen, I really honestly think, Michelle, and talk me down from this tree, I think John McCain is more dangerous even than Hillary Clinton because at least Hillary Clinton has Bill Clinton to make her triangulate eventually. There will be no stopping between John McCain and the Progressives of going down a road that is massive internationalists. Right or wrong?

MALKIN: I'm with you on much of that. I think it's fascinating to --

GLENN: But hang on, Michelle. My point is if you have Hillary Clinton try to pull off what John McCain is going to try to pull off, I mean, and I don't believe he doesn't know this guy's policies. This guy is a leader. If he tried to pull this off and you have a Progressive Democratic congress, there's no one to stop it because there's enough John McCain Republicans in congress that it would sweep through. They're going to sweep through all kinds of treaties, all kinds of internationalism and there would be no stopping it. I mean, you've got -- how did we get welfare reform? We got it with a Democratic President and a Republican congress. They swept it through. You want to have gigantic international global warming treaties or gigantic treaties that are signed for setting up a block of Mex-Ameri-Canada, you put John McCain in office.

MALKIN: Yeah, I understand your point about triangulation and I'm very down. I'm very depressed about the rise of John McCain. But I don't completely believe that we wouldn't be able to stop it. Look, we had a globalist open borders Republican President try to push amnesty through with the Progressive left, the open borders left. His name was George W. Bush and he did not get his way and that's thanks in large part to the conservatives and talk radio and in the grassroots who John McCain has the same hostility to. The point is we don't want to repeat history here. I don't want another George W. Bush open borders type in the White House. And, you know, I'm galled by all of the Republican establishments who think we should shut up about it. Yes, everybody should know about Juan Hernandez. Everybody should know about Jerry Perenchio who is the billionaire founder of Univision who is a national campaign co-chair of John McCain. People should know about it.

GLENN: What is his -- besides him being the head of Univision, what is, you know, what's so devious about him?

MALKIN: He's also -- I mean, he's Juan Hernandez with a billion dollars. Let's put it that way. He's led the campaign to fight an English emergent initiative which was hugely popular and won overwhelmingly in California with the 227 that abolished so-called bilingual education which is keeping students hostage and basically forcing them to learn a foreign language instead of English and it was included popularly and overwhelmingly especially by Hispanic parents, law-abiding Hispanic parents who were appalled at the public schools with teaching their kids Spanish instead of English. Well, Perenchio, who is the national co-chair for McCain, poured millions of dollars not only directly into the opposition campaign but he put hourly public service announcements on Univision claiming that this was just -- it was not about helping Hispanic families, he was about helping his bottom line an keeping people from watching Univision instead of putting it into American culture. He's also given tons of money to Planned Parenthood and the National Resources Defense Council and you can see these are birds of a feather, Juan Hernandez, Jerry Perenchio, John McCain who, you know, isn't just a guy, the open borders type but also happens to be one of these stop global warming fear mongers. So it all says, and people should know the company that he keeps and the outreach that he is doing now to Reagan is, you know, completely cynical move to try and get into the office and nobody should buy it. This is the New York Times' favorite Republican.

GLENN: So Michelle, we were doing the math today on the election. How do you reverse this?

MALKIN: Well, I said last night that it is a Mt. Everest battle for Mitt Romney and, of course, Mitt Romney has this problem but one problem he doesn't have is he doesn't have a record of crushing his shoe heel into the face of the conservatives. I would rather have someone who has, you know, had an epiphany and is now coming to court conservative votes because he wants to represent them than to somebody who even, as he now claims that he's the conservative frontrunner, continues to insult and spit in their faces.

GLENN: Michelle Malkin, I've got 30 seconds. If it's John McCain, Hillary Clinton, do you pull the lever for John McCain?

MALKIN: Not at this moment I don't. I'm running a poll right now on my site and you can see that there are a majority of my own readers who are going to sit home. And I think it's a big warning to the conservative movement out there. We still have time to fix this.

GLENN: Michelle Malkin, thank you very much, appreciate it.
