Fred Thompson Stops His Run
Fred Thompson took his hat out of the ring today. If he endorses John McCain, what does that say about Mr. Thompson's conservative views? So many seem to be willing to give the race to John (Feingold-Kennedy-Gang of 14) McCain. Could it be because the Democrats see a person that might be easier to beat? John McCain HASN'T changed his views about illegal immigration. Listen to how he explains how he heard about closing the borders. Do Not let yourself be misled by him and he is trying to mislead.Have you noticed how many are trying to drop Mike Huckabee down as not really having a chance? How quickly are they wanting to get him out of the race?
Mayor Rudy has to win in the Sunshine state or at least that is what everyone says. Maybe there is some truth in that. He hasn't even beaten Ron Paul yet. So why do they talk about Rudy and won't even mention a person he hasn't been able to beat yet?
Mike Huckabee just lost by 3 points in So. Carolina. If Fred Thompson had been out of the race Huckabee more then likely would have won So. Carolina. Yet so many are willing to write him off.
It will be interesting to see how well John McCain does when only republicans can vote in the election.
Mitt Romney has more delegates then any other person. He has also won and placed second more then the other candidates yet he doesn't have any MO going.
At least listening to the ones that appear to be trying to build up that MO talk for John McCain. Why would that be? John Edwards said in the debate last night he believes John McCain will win the republican nomination. Why does it appear a lot of the people who are mouthing the MO of John McCain are more on the left side then the right side?
Then Ron Paul, let us not talk about him in anyway. Even though he continues raising money like some of the other candidates wish they could. Even though he continues to get more votes then Mayor Rudy and in Nevada he beat all of the other candidates except for Mitt Romney. Maybe if the media would give him as much space and talk as the people he has beaten, maybe then he would be polling higher. But no it would be easier to ignore him, besides he may speak some truth of what is being done wrong in this country.
