Pundit Speak
After listening to the pundits after the results from the So. Carolina primary and the Nevada caucus here is what I noticed.
People make fun of Fred Thompson and his speech. They also question when he is getting out.
People aren't questioning when John Edwards will get out.
Ron Paul comes in 2nd in Nevada. But no one talks about it or the fact that he beat everyone on the republican side but Mitt Romney.
Also no one brings up the fact that Ron Paul has beaten Mayor Rudy in every contest so far.
Mike Huckabee is now or at least tonight being written off now as not being able to win. How fast some want to drop him to a lower tier.
Many are talking about McCain winning the nomination, yet he hasn't won in any election yet where ONLY republicans are allowed to vote.
Many are putting McCain as the front runner even though Mitt Romney has been the most consistent. He didn't lose that much to Fred Thompson in So. Carolina which would have put him in 3rd. He DID win Nevada and McCain didn't even beat Ron Paul in that one. McCain may have the Media Hype but is that because he is consistent or because the media is pushing him?
How right has all the polls been so far? They aren't doing real good are they? There are so many polls out there and the reason for polls now are to make news for the 24 hour news networks.
The way Bill Clinton is getting involved in the campaign sometimes one might forget which Clinton is running for president. If Hillary is strong enough to be president and protect our country shouldn't she be strong enough to run for president on her own? Shouldn't she be strong enough to win it and battle for it within Bill entering the battle? Who wants this more Hillary or Bill?
