Hunter Out - McCain Continues Riding Independents
Duncan Hunter has announced he is ending his presidential run. Here is the case of a man that has a message that needed to be heard. A message that so many of the Repubs would agree with. But a message that never was heard. Even in his speech announcing he was getting out, he showed the type of person he was.
John McCain rode the independents to a victory in South Carolina. Here is the case of a man that a lot of Repubs won't agree with on a number of things but he keeps on going because people other then Repubs are allowed to vote in the Republican primary. Before you get on the McCain bandwagon remember these things: McCain-Feingold, McCain-Kennedy, Gang of 14, Bush Tax Cuts. ALSO remember just because he says now that he heard the American people about the borders needing to be closed, he HASN'T changed his true beliefs on this. He STILL thinks he was right and the ONLY reason he is saying he heard about closing the borders is he has too, for any chance of getting the nomination. Watch HIM and hear his answers when he talks about this issue. Get past I know the borders need to be closed first, I will close the borders first. It is what he says and doesn't say after that statement. In his heart he is STILL about McCain-Kennedy.
Is Fred Thompson staying in to help McCain over Mike Huckabee? When Fred Thompson gets out will he endorse John McCain? John McCain is NOT a conservative. If Fred Thompson endorses him then how true is Fred Thompson's belief on what a conservative is?
