What doesn't make sense?

    How many times have you heard the term "war on terror"?  How many times have you heard the statement that "we are fighting them over there, so we don't have to fight them here"?
    What doesn't make sense about those statements?   OK,  if we are fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here.  Then why are the same people that are saying that,  are also some of the same people who ignoring or at least attempting to ignore how open our borders are?
    What makes sense about that?  EVERY night how many people enter our country illegally?  Doesn't it make sense that if people who want to pick our vegetables and fruit, can find a way into our country illegally.  Doesn't it make sense that people who want to kill us and harm us can do the same thing?
   What is so hard to understand about that?  Why the reluctance to put the resources that are needed to secure our borders?  Why are some acting as if we as a country have no right to say who can come into our country?
    HOW can anyone and I mean ANYone say we are fighting a "war on terror" and not be insisting that the borders are shut down?  How can any war on terror be taken seriously as long as people are attempting to ignore the border issue?
